Things are getting incredibly exciting in the library, I swear. It almost makes me want to be there to experience life in its entirety. The week started off with the tent parked in the middle of nowhere (see previous). Today, we had someone printing suspicious documents, and a pair of exchange students sunbathing on the roof of the building with their tops off. Looking forward to tomorrow.

I am immensely sad that this series ends on Day 7. But I’ve extracted this from his Day 6 ramblings, and dedicate it to Mavis and the other people whom I experienced New York with some 6 months ago:
“But there is a flip side to strong feelings too. It can make for creative energy. The layers of New York, its colour, artistic depth, its brazenness and, yes, pushiness, comes from the same wellspring of expressed emotions, something which too often, we in Singapore think should be suppressed, outlawed, purged from our media, for the sake of harmony.”

I guess it was kinda obvious who would win; there was simply no question about it right from the beginning of the season. but mostly i just wanted something special to happen- that in a season with so many production missteps, they might have given someone else the win, for the sake of her being the nicest person on the show. and besides, she didn’t do that shabby after all. this was my favourite of all 3 shows, and arguably this, which moved so pretty. it was bound to happen - they let the girl with elaborate clothes that mirrored a christian siriano aesthetic win. the formula works; it really doesn’t matter if you have the potential of something different and special - it’s incosequential. oh, and i thought carol hannah’s models were prettier too.

there’s a curious smell on the trays that live at koufu.
i wonder if anyone else notices it.
at the unusual arena where new stalls rarely survive more than a school term, the smell seems to get curious-er and curious-er.
it’s scary, isn’t it? that no one really cares.
maybe, soon, mushrooms will be here.
and we’ll just keep eating. and eating.
and eating.
yunfei, 23, male.
struggling smu student.
thinks we love too little.
yuf is a novice of the modern-day pragmatics, but his true passion lies in the performance of chinese contemporary music, and dance. perhaps one day he'll find the peace in himself to unchain the shackles and save the world.
someday you just might catch him sitting behind the counter of a random cafe, watching the world go by, with a smile and a warm cup of honey milk tea.
